Robe "à pieches"
Typical dress of the second half of the XVth for the middle class. The low cut opening needs to wear some under called "pieches" (pieces). Usually, pieches are: an opaque fabric called stomacher which cover the chez chest and an other made of transparent silk all around the neck. Collar and arm's cuffs could be of cloth or fur. The pictured model is in deep blue wool with a lining in white linen. Collar and cuff's are made white fur.

Robe "à l'italienne"
Dress model of the end ot the XVth in Italy. The dress could be seen in th Memling's painting: Saynt joan altar. This dress fit tightly and is closed by hooks in the back. A lace could also be used. One or two buttons close the sleeve at wrist.
